Toxic Tears- The evils of the so called “green revolution” and Globalisation

So many farmers all over the world are committing suicide because of the way those in control exercise their power over them.  (Monsanto being one of them…)

All my life I have heard how science is going to help make the world a better place. Well, I am sure it could but the faceless, cowardly, few in power over most scientists have mainly used science to actually trample over most of humanity.

The evidence is there bleeding all over the place… no one need look too far.. Some of you may disagree at which point I would like to share the following:

Bertrand Russell wrote in his  book entitled The Impact of Science on Society (1952)  that:

“It is to be expected that advances in physiology and psychology will give governments much more control over individual mentality than they now have even in totalitarian countries.

Fichte laid it down that, education should aim at destroying free will, so that, after pupils have left school, they shall be incapable, throughout the rest of their lives, of thinking or acting otherwise than as their schoolmasters would have wished. (Bear in mind “school masters” teach the curriculum that is set by the governments who are heavily influenced by the corporate world). But in his day this was an unattainable ideal: what he regarded as the best system in existence produced Karl Marx. In future such failures are not likely to occur where there is dictatorship.

Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible.

Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them that they are so.

The below article is nothing new.. just another jolt to try and move those of us asleep to WAKE UP.
CHANDIGARH: It is a juxtaposition of contraries that has now become ironic. Even though Punjab government has found a negligible number of farmers who merit Rs 2 lakh compensation, given to those who are driven to suicide because of debt, a Dutch researcher has been overwhelmed by the tragedy which has almost become an every house tale in the villages.

Tom Deiters, who had come to India six years ago to carry out research on farmer suicides in Lehragaga area, as an academic exercise, was moved by the destruction that the pesticides were wreaking that he decided to stay-on for a longer time.

His documentary “Toxic Tears” profiles the heart-broken men and women in Punjab’s villages who had lost their sons to the faulty farming practices. An old woman, her face heavily creased with age, in Chottian village, broke down as she narrated how her eldest son had drunk the very pesticide, which had trapped him in a debt, to end his life four years ago.

A year later, her younger son, unable to tolerate a failed crop and more debt, followed suit. Tom, whose thesis was for doing Masters in International Relations, a part of political science, at the University of Amsterdam in Holland, is now using the Punjab model, to highlight how globalization is far removed from reality. “The evils of so called “green revolution” are so stark in Punjab,” said Tom Deiters, while talking to TOI.

“I want to use Punjab’s example to show how the policy makers are not connected to the reality. This is important because other states in India like Bihar want to follow Punjab’s footsteps,” he said. Frustrated by the pattern of the vicious trap that he had seen replicated across the villages, Toxic Tears, highlights how motivated people, especially commission agents, are taking pains to deny the very existence of farmers’ suicides.

“Farmers are borrowing money at outrageous rates from agents, many of whom are doubling up as agents of pesticides and fertilizers. There is a strong bias at work, “said Tom, who is now more focused on solutions. Punjab government too had been in a state of denial regarding the suicides and had maintained that these were only isolated cases.

“Organic farming, free of chemicals, is a way out, though it has own set of problems. But, there are farmers who are waking up to this fact. I am trying to map organic farmers in Punjab and start a self help group. The organic farmers can get together, learn from each others’ experience, market their produce together and watch the community’s interests, ” said Tom Deiters who has travelled extensively to Europe to study organic farming.

I love my family SOOOO MUCH!!!

Hi, I am back from visiting my family in England and my batteries are fully RECHARGED!!

I went because my mum was feeling unwell.. 😦 and it left me feeling lost and sad… When I got there I saw she has been poorly but I also saw how beautifully she is cared for..  I see so many old people being left alone by their families that I thanked my lucky stars… my mum is a very lucky lady 🙂

I am sitting here chilling with an amazing cuppa and my friend Fifi is waiting for me outside. So I better hurry and just say what I have to.

A very humongous, heartfelt thankyou to my brother and sis inlaw who do an AMAZING job of looking after mum.

Much love and good wishes are beamed at them because they are such very very special people 🙂

Something peaceful… hope you enjoy…

So….. what was it like “going raw” all those years ago?

Hmmm.. It was  S C A R Y!!! And exciting because finally..F I N A L L Y  I had hope that the shackles of extreme pain caused by arthritis COULD be broken!

I had put my hope in “science” finding a cure. But every year they spewed out the same carrot on a stick..”the cure is coming”…. just like their  phoney “war on cancer” … tut… well I waited over two decades and the cure never came..

So, I took RESPONSIBILITY of MY health in MY own hands.

This raw food melarchy was getting results for other people and I also knew that the Hindu yogis had practiced this way of eating for centuries and they lived healthy long lives. Some claim to be hundredS of years old..

I wanted to try it. I was SICK and TIRED of living in constant pain. Just the severity was always there lurking in the background like a stalker..

So I was READY for the fight.. like a boxer in a ring..

Ready to fight for my health

ready to fight my average, addictive lifestyle

ready to fight my emotional attachment to food

ready to fight my dependence on outside forces to help me heal (even though they did not get the results)

ready to fight my reverence to the modern doctoring system

ready to fight the  fear of what my family and friends and neighbours would say

ready to fight my negative traits

ready to be PAINFREE! 🙂

Going raw was like  re-learning to eat and  more importantly re-learning  to live.

For the first time I started to “join the dots” about the grave implications for the planet and humanity of how modern food is produced. As food is central to ones life, I feel I and humanity need to pay attention to how our food gets on our plate from where, how, by whom etc  it is grown.

For me this is a BIG ISSUE and thus has had a massive impact on my lifestyle and my value system because I have found that it is all connected to the astronomical animal and human suffering inflicted on our behalf.

I want no part in it.

It is part of the disease of modern life that we have become accustomed to the suffering of others and we can just “switch off” to this reality.  However the financial crisis seem to be awakening many out of their comatose to the reality that one day it may be US that are suffering, starving, being terrorized…. Basically all the abuse the majority of humanity is living under..

So once the decision was made then came the actual living through the process and facing the demons I mention above.

That was TOUGH but the positive health results came so quickly that it felt like I had just won the lottery and this smile came into my heart that was euphoric and its still here 🙂

CIA spy captured giving nuclear bomb to terrorists ?

Whats going on here????

While all eyes in the West are currently trained on the ongoing revolution taking place in Egypt, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is warning that the situation on the sub-continent has turned “grave” as it appears open warfare is about to break out between Pakistan and the United States.

Fueling this crisis, that the SVR warns in their report has the potential to ignite a total Global War, was the apprehension by Pakistan of a 36-year-old American named Raymond Allen Davis (photo), whom the US claims is one of their diplomats, but Pakistani Intelligence Services (ISI) claim is a spy for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Davis was captured by Pakistani police after he shot and killed two men in the eastern city of Lahore on January 27th that the US claims were trying to rob him.

Pakistan, however, says that the two men Davis killed were ISI agents sent to follow him after it was discovered he had been making contact with al Qaeda after his cell phone was tracked to the Waziristan tribal area bordering Afghanistan where the Pakistani Taliban and a dozen other militant groups have forged a safe haven and former CIA agent Tim Osman (also known as Osama bin Laden) is believed to be in hiding.

Of the actual gunfight itself we can read as reported by the Time News Service which, in part, says:

“The scene could have been scripted in a Hollywood action thriller: For two hours at the end of last month in Lahore, U.S. diplomat Raymond Davis was closely pursued by two visibly armed men on a motorbike. He noticed them tailing him from a restaurant to an ATM, and through the crowded streets of Pakistan’s second [largest] city. They were close by when, in a crowded intersection, Davis produced his own handgun and fired seven shots.

The diplomat was apparently a crack shot, and all seven bullets found their mark, killing his two pursuers. Davis then called for back-up, and a four-wheel-drive vehicle raced onto the scene, striking a Pakistani bystander who was killed by the impact. But the people in the vehicle, whose identities remain unknown, escaped from the scene having failed to retrieve Davis, who was later arrested nearby.”

The combat skills exhibited by Davis, along with documentation taken from him after his arrest, prove, according to this report, his being a member of the feared American Task Force 373 (TF373) black operations unit currently operating in the Afghan War Theater and Pakistani tribal areas comprised of US Military Special Forces Soldiers, CIA spies and freelance mercenaries.

Further information about Davis discovered by the Times of India includes:

“According to records from the Pentagon, Davis is a former Special Forces soldier who left the army in August 2003 after 10 years of service. A Virginia native, he served with infantry divisions prior to joining the 3rd Special Forces Group in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 1994, he was part of the U.N. peacekeeping force in Macedonia. His record includes several awards and medals, including for good conduct.

Public records also show Davis runs a company with his wife registered in Las Vegas called Hyperion Protective Services, though it was not immediately clear whether the company has had many contracts with the U.S. government.”

Since Davis’s capture the US has exerted extraordinary pressure upon Pakistan to release him, including the American Ambassador warning President Asif Ali Zardari to release him “or else” and the cancellation of all talks between these two nuclear powered Nations.

Today, according to this SVR report, this most critical of situations became even worse when a Pakistani judge refused to bow to American pressure and ordered a further 14-day detention of Davis, and which sparked an immediate threat from US National Security Advisor Tom Donilon, who told Pakistani envoy Hussain Haqqani that the Obama administration will “kick him out of the US”, close American consulates in Pakistan and cancel President Zardari’s upcoming visit to Washington if their CIA spy wasn’t released immediately.

Fearing that the conflict over Davis may lead to open warfare, the Pakistanis were quick to let the Americans know they would not come out any conflict unscathed with their firing yesterday of their new Hatf-VII nuclear cruise missile (also called Babur after the 16th-century Muslim ruler who founded the Mughal Empire) that Major General Athar Abbas said “…can carry strategic and conventional warheads, has stealth capabilities, is a low-flying, terrain-hugging missile with high manoeuvrability, pinpoint accuracy and radar avoidance features.”

The United States Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS) further reported yesterday that Pakistan appears to be building a fourth military nuclear reactor, signaling its determination to produce more plutonium for atomic weapons.

Most ominous in this SVR report, though, is Pakistan’s ISI stating that top-secret CIA documents found in Davis’s possession point to his, and/or TF373, providing to al Qaeda terrorists “nuclear fissile material” and “biological agents” they claim are to be used against the United States itself in order to ignite an all-out war in order to reestablish the West’s hegemony over a Global economy that is warned is just months away from collapse.

Not known to the masses of the American people is that the $20 Trillion they have spent on their longest wars in history has bankrupted their Nation to such an extent that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) called yesterday for replacement of the US Dollar as the World’s reserve currency.

More crucially that the American people are ignoring is the fact that their own government has unleashed against them a 21st Century update to the dreaded US Military “Operation Northwoods” campaign of terror designed to enrage them to accepting war as their main way of life.

Operation Northwoods was a series of false-flag operation proposals that originated within the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for the CIA, or other operatives, to commit acts of terrorism in US cities and elsewhere. These acts of terrorism were to be blamed on Cuba in order to create public support for a war against that nation, which had recently become communist under Fidel Castro. One part of Operation Northwoods was to “develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington.”

Operation Northwoods proposals included hijackings and bombings followed by the introduction of phony evidence that would implicate the Cuban government. It stated:

“The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere.”

Several other proposals were included within Operation Northwoods, including real or simulated actions against various US military and civilian targets. The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. Although part of the US government’s Cuban Project anti-communist initiative, Operation Northwoods was never officially accepted and the proposals included in the plan were never executed.

James Bamford summarizes Northwoods as follows:

“Operation Northwoods, which had the written approval of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, called for innocent people to be shot on American streets; for boats carrying refugees fleeing Cuba to be sunk on the high seas; for a wave of violent terrorism to be launched in Washington, D.C., Miami, and elsewhere. People would be framed for bombings they did not commit; planes would be hijacked. Using phony evidence, all of it would be blamed on Castro, thus giving Lemnitzer and his cabal the excuse, as well as the public and international backing, they needed to launch their war.”

Though Operation Northwoods had the “approval” of the Chairman and every member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, it did not have the approval of their boss, President John F. Kennedy (1917-1963), but who barely one year after his outright rejection of this monstrous plan to kill thousands of innocent Americans was gunned down as an example to any future US leader what would happen to them if they dared go against the wishes of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC).

Today, as the US Department of Homeland Security has just issued a grim warning that the threat of terror strike on America is at a higher level than it has been since September 11, 2001, and the WikiLeaks release of secret US government cables reveals that al Qaeda is on the brink of using a nuclear bomb, a new President stands between his people and the CIA warmongers with the only question being will he protect them like Kennedy did?

The answer to that question, sadly, appears to be “no” as new information recently obtained by US journalists show that not only has Obama failed to discipline those CIA officers who have led the United States to near total collapse, he has promoted them in numbers never before seen in history.

Oh my GOD! Thieves caught in the act by my hubby!

I have just had a phone call from D (my hubby) to say that as he returned to our farm after dropping us off at our apartment, he was making his way to the house when he saw two men acting suspiciously by the river. ( 22:30 pm approx)

They had untied the ladder we use to cross the river with, and they were using it to “cross the river” at another location. He told them to put it back. One ran off and the other put it back. He turned his back for a while and the second man ran off into the dark too.

At this point he called me and I called the neighbouring farm’s son who  went running down with another brother and sister. Their dog ran after one of the men…. Don’t know what happened….. bitten bum/leg I guess..  😉

It was at this point that one of the son’s noticed 6 sacs filled with possibly their avocados!!

The thieving scoundrels!

I wanted to go to bed early but I am waiting to hear from D as to what has happened?

I said the police should be called but I think my neighbour’s were not sure…

Ok, I wrote the above very early Saturday morning.. heres what happened next..

My neighbours boys were joined by another neighbour and his gun :-/  They went off in the dark hunting down these fugitives!

They had a hunch who it might be so they turned up at their farm and lo behold they were not there! However their car was ready with the back seats folded down as if they may be putting some goodies into the back?

The police were called and they reckoned it was the same folks too.. Two middle-aged men with some negative habits and no earning potential… Local petty criminals..

Wonder how the police will proceed from this point??
